About
FacebookStatusVia is simply a service that allows you to post your facebook status via custom application. These applications are made by various developers. Hence, we only provide shortcuts to post status on your own wall or to your friend’s wall.
The idea is to trick your friends, so they will think that you are using the actual device to post your facebook status. Normally, a facebook user who owns a handheld device such as Blackberry, posts his/her status using a special application built for Blackberry. His/her status appears as … via Blackberry.

Status via actual device Blackberry
You don’t need to own a Blackberry smartphone to update status via Blackberry like above picture. Simply use our service to post your facebook status as if you are using the actual device. You can also customize your status with the provided emoticons, so it will look more attractive. Check out the picture below.

How to Know Friend’s Username or ID
Go to your friend’s profile page. The easiest way is to click his/her name or profile picture.

When you’ve opened your friend’s profile page, notice the query string in the URL. If the URL is similar to the pattern http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=xxxxxxxxxx, then the facebook user ID is xxxxxxxxxx. See picture below as example. The red-rectangled is the user ID.

Most facebook users have also associated their profile with username (instead of the standard user ID). In this case, the profile page’s URL would be like this: http://www.facebook.com/xxxxxxxxxx, where xxxxxxxxxx is the username. See example below.
